How To Hide Your Timeline

Last January, Facebook announced that all profiles will be converted to Timeline format. I hate Timeline so much so I said to myself I'll just wait until mine will be activated. Last week, I was so pissed when Facebook welcomes me to Timeline and it'll publish within 7 days! GRRRR!

Several hours ago, I saw an ad on how to hide Timeline and view the old profile back. It is only an extension but its good news for me and to those who doesn't like Timeline. So I'm gonna share to you what I've found out.

Visit this link: http://www.timelineremove.com

Download the extension then install! I dunno if it works in all browsers but it works on Chrome.

NOTE: It will only hide the Timeline profile look. So if your friends doesn't have this extension, they will still see your profile in Timeline. :)

I hope this one helps!

Easter Egg and Easter Bunny: Where did they come from?

When I was little, we used to hunt painted eggs after mass during Easter Sundays. I've always wondered how these colored eggs relate to Easter. Is it necessary to have colors? Why not pupa? Or carrots? Did Christ's witnesses ate eggs after He arise? What about the bunnies? Are they witnesses too? So I asked help to Mr. Google.

The Legend of Easter Eggs
One April morning Thomas and his sister Lucy are gathering eggs from the hens and discussing Easter. But Lucy falls ill with scarlet fever before she gets a chance to tell him about Easter eggs. Thomas is sent to the local candy shop merchants, John and Mary, while his sister is quarantined. One day, when Thomas is lonely and frightened about Lucy, Mary gives him a chocolate Easter egg and tells him the story of Jesus's resurrection.

"But why do we have Easter eggs?" Thomas asked.

Mary explained. "Just as a chick breaks out of an egg, so had Jesus broken free of the tomb of death. Easter eggs remind us that Jesus conquered death and gives us eternal life."

The Legend of Easter Bunnies
-- The origin of Easter bunny can be traced back to the ancient Pagan settlements. They regarded rabbits as symbols of fertility, because the animal gives birth to multiple offspring at a time. Since rabbits were fertility icons, they became symbols of the rising fertility of the Earth. Ancient tribes celebrated the beginning of spring at the Vernal Equinox, by blessing seeds for growth and placing colored eggs on an altar. Therefore, it can be said that Easter Bunny has its origin in the ancient Pagans. --

So that answers it. It has become a tradition for many. But the important thing is that we remember Christ's suffering, resurrection, and His love. With or without colored eggs and cute bunnies as symbols, we knew by our faith that He has risen for us.

Are you a SATISFIER or a MAXIMIZER?

Yesterday, my cousin and I were out to the mall. She decided to buy a tumbler so we searched all over the housewares section. We couldn't find a cheap one so I told her we try to look on other stores. But as we passed by to the children's section, she saw a pink tumbler labeled "Hello Kitty". She is a fan of Kitty so she said it's okay for her. But I insisted not to buy it because of its low quality and that it is not really necessary for her to buy that item. Suddenly, she told me I am a maximizer. Not a satisfier. (Then I got nosebleed!)

And so I did a research!

According to studies, there are two types of consumers:
the SATISFIERS, and the MAXIMIZERS.
Satisfiers make slight decisions. They stick to what they want and what makes them happy and contented. Maximizers are very particular. They tend to search for more options before finalizing a decision.

There is always a conflict between these two. Whether satisfiers are more happy than maximizers. I dunno! But for me, practically speaking, I'd prefer to be a maximizer. Unless I'd become a mistress of Bill Gates then I would be the Queen of Satisfiers! LOL! XD

Redundancy? I'm getting sick!

Everyday is a redundancy. In the morning we woke up, eat breakfast --- or don't (for those who are on diet, anorexic, or bulimic), wash-up, off to school, have a break, gossip with friends while waiting for your next class, drop by somewhere else before going home, eat dinner, then go back for sleep! (Or don't sleep at all due to paperworks, insomnia, or you had gone for a gimmick. LOL!) Then the next day, WE DO ALMOST THE SAME THING!

See? Most of our time is spent this way! Isn't it BORING? @_@

HOLY WEEK! HOLY CRAP!

How do we spell a not-so-very-good-day in one word with four letters?

I created this blog page because I was pissed off this morning. Maybe for me to have an outlet to shout out my emotions and hard feelings. I don't want to bother a friend to pour out my salty tears so I decided to write about it instead.

I am a special girl. Extraordinary, unique, simple, and down to earth.
But capital H I M didn't made me perfect. I accept that. I know He's fair, but I wonder why some people isn't fair at all? Including those who are significant to you. Why can't they understand my part? Do I deserve to be treated like a 10-year old brat? Oh come on! I'm 23! Where is justice?! Where's The Fish?

Sorry I offended you to whom it may concern. But I guess this time I should also have to decide for myself. Where to go. What to do. How to live. And when to settle down.
